It honestly depends on the venue you're sending it to and who you're sending it too

I was just wondering also if anybody sends out cast photos and gets them returned signed by the cast?

You and send a LOR and a SASE to a stage manager of a production asking for a cast signed playbill but I'm not sure about tv shows since I've never done that.

Only some tv shows send out cast signed stuff. Its rare. And mote than likely yoi wont get a reply. But its worth a shot if you dont mind losing stamps etc.
