Sending photos

Unread post by ufanmail_29 »

hi, i have a few enquires about sending pictures with my fan mail for a celebrity to sign.

1) can they just be printed out from a computer, or on photo paper? or do they have to be a proper photo?
2) do you have to request the photos' signature in a LOR?

thanks
:)

Depends on the celebrity, some send presigned photos, but in most cases I would recommend sending your own photos that you print out on photo paper, because normal paper can get damaged easily.Yes,I think that's pretty clear if you send a photo, your write in the LOR that you want them signed.

Hope i helped :)

I don't understand no2, why would you not ask them to sign them... isn't that the purpose of sending them? Or were you planning to just send a couple of photos and an SASE and hope for the best?

I'll answer that with a simple question... would YOU like it if someone else wrote to you and expected YOU to pay for postage?

I send them a 4x6 photo I have printed myself, that way the images you get is what you want, also since some actors only make money through autographs by TTM your asking for something for free in return it would be courteous and common sense to pay their return postage for you.
