Re using stamps

to most of you this might sound like a silly question but if someone reuses a marked stamped to send a letter out, will the letter be sent straight back to you or what??

I use stamps twice all the time.
but would never use ones with the ink stamp markings
just not worth the risk
most stuff i send out is via venue and time sensitive
can't afford it being returned
