Is it correct to write day/month/year? Looking at it as a mathematical progression we know that: There are more years than a month or a day (2014), so the year entry should be last. There are more days than months (28-31, {12}, so the day entry should be second to last. This leaves the month entry as the first entry in the progression. Thus, month-day-year. God bless America!
