Sending 8x10 Photos to Germany, UK and Others

Unread post by KabirC »

Hey,

So I'm looking to get started doing TTMs overseas. I just purchased 2 booklets of Royal Mail First Class stamps from the USPS, going to the UK will put 6 Forever stamps on the 10x13 envelope going there. How many Royal Mail First Class stamps for the 9x12 envelope coming back to me? Also, where would I go to buy German stamps for the return SASE when I'm sending to Germany?

Thanks for all the help!

www.royal-mail.com/pricefinder is where you can calculate the return cost from UK to USA.

If your SASE is a board backed envelope or padded then it will probably exceed 5mm width which means it can't go Letters rate but would have to go small packet, which is considerably more expensive.

Current values of First Class stamps can be found easily by a google search or similar.

As for German stamps you could post a wanted on the appropriate section of this forum or get hold of some EUROS to send with your request. Smallest paper note is 5EURO.

Ok thanks!! How do I mark the difference between: Royal Mail
International Standard and International Economy? I'd like to send through International Standard.

If you write "Airmail- International Standard" in the top left corner on the front of the envelope you should be fine.

Speaking as a UK resident they changed the name recently, it's really stupid, everyone calls it Airmail anyway!
