I'm becoming very concerned because I sent Bardot a letter with 3 photos, a self-addressed return envelope, and either two or three (I can't remember) international reply coupons back in June and still haven't received a response. I know that the number of International Reply Coupons I sent was enough for return postage because I sent the same amount in a letter I sent to Hayley Mills in England and I received a response from her (England and France aren't that far apart, postage can't possibly be so much higher in France than it is in England, can it?)

But I'm wondering if the fact that I wrote my letter to Brigitte in English might have anything to do with why she hasn't replied, since I know she speaks French. Does anyone know if Brigitte responds to letters written to her in English? Does she only respond to letters written to her in French?

I'm very worried. I spent quite a lot of money on the photos I sent and on the shipping. It would be such a waste to not receive a response, since I know she does respond to fan letters.

I always wrote to her in english. And I wrote 3 time this year, and all the times she replied me!!! The last time I wrote to her was in 24 October and I received the 3 photos signed. And I sent a IRC. Anyway, I don't know why she didn't respond

I wrote Brigitte in English and she replied, so it's about about the language. Maybe she hasn't happened to get your letter yet, or maybe your letter got lost in the mail (these things happen sometimes).... You could wait another bit and try again if you have no reply. It does not matter if you write in English german French . Bardot gets 500 request for her autograph per week. I don't think she reads every letter. Yes 6 months is a little long for her I would say about 3 or 4 is the norm. I would give it another 3 months and then you might have to write it off and send her again. But Brigitte Bardot is one of the greatest signers out there so if she gets it she will autograph it. Got mine back in about 3 months.

Yeah, I know Brigitte is great about signing, which is why I'm worried that my letter must have gotten lost in the mail or that it somehow wound up in the dead letter office. It just is a bit of a pain to have spent all that money on the photos (and those international reply coupons cost a bundle) just to have it get lost in the mail But, hey it could be worse..she could refuse to answer fan mail!

But thanks everyone, I'll wait a few more months and then send her another letter...and next time I'll put a tracking number on both my envelope and the return envelope so I'll know if it got to her LOL

Audrey tracking number never thought of that but you cant put one on the return envelope right or can you.

You know, I'm nor sure if you can put a tracking number on a return envelope. I just assumed you could. If I do send Bardot another letter, I'll ask the post office if they can do that.
