Ok, so this has happened to me a few times now. I have, after much hard work, found an address and got a great result from it, BUT the person I have contacted, whilst happy to sign for me, has asked for the address not to be shared, OR the address is a home address and I don't feel comfortable sharing someone's home address online. Because of this, Admin have moved my perfectly legitimate post from 'Feedback' to 'Is My Autograph Authentic?'. Now, I fully understand the rules about posting addresses etc etc yadda yadda, BUT there has to be somewhere better to put posts where people are respecting the privacy of others and so are not putting the addresses in that 'IMAA?'. Whilst I appreciate you may not want my post in your Feedback area, I get rather peeved by having the authenticity of my response questioned.
Anyone else feel the same and is there any way we can get a better areas set up in the Board to move our successes to, without making it look like we don't know if our hard worked for successes are legitimate?
Thanks - comments from other users and Admin appreciated.
p.s. Just because someone claims to have written to X address and posts a photo of an envelope up to the site doesn't make the post any more or less legitimate!

Congrats on your replies! It is so rewarding to do your research, take a chance and get a response!
A big debate on here is what to do with posts like yours where an address is or was asked to remain private. It really depends on the person. For me, if I get a reply from a personal address I don't post it. Truth be told, I haven't posted a success in a when because I'm too busy. I have seen comments about people wanting to post to let others know that the star replies so other fans can do research.
Maybe there needs to be a page for those successes-but then perhaps others will post fake successes and the debates will ruin the page!

You're right, it is a tricky one, and I often look with some bemusement at 'successes' from some people who 'wrote to Ronaldo with a private address and got 10 real signed pics' etc etc. I direct people to my blog to view my pics and so, in regards to site traffic, it's great to get views, which is why I still add them on here, even if I don't have an address to share, but absolutely see your points.
Very nice breath of fresh air to get a proper discussion on here, not like some of the muppets who jump on threads to make stupid comments, so thank you!
