Well, my mother got me this today, she told me she couldnt find it, and she did today, she sent a letter to the beatles back in 1964, and she got this back....if it was now, I wouldnt even ask if they were pre printed because...well, I would asume that, but being 1965.....I did some research and I couldnt find any one exaclty the same....can anyone give me some feedback on this? I want to believe that are real, but Im pretty sure that they are not...but if you know anything that I dont, can you please enlight me?
My personal opinion is that they are secretarial. I have seen many authentic signatures from this time frame, and these do not resemble them whatsoever. I personally have separate signatures from Lennon and McCartney that were acquired in person, Obviously, these were acquired much later, but they bear no resemblance to those either. While Lennon's signature did change over the years, perhaps even day to day, McCartney's has remained relatively the same.
Still, I think those are awesome, with great sentimental value for you and your mother.
I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I highly doubt they are legit. I've drooled over enough Beatles autos to be pretty familiar with them, plus check my username
Hahaha, thank you! Yeah, I thought they were not real, and as you said, my mother was so happy with those, that Ill go with that!! could had been a major field gold to get real ones, but, hey, if she is happy, Im happy!!
As mentioned prior, they all appear to be signed by the same person. Though, it is still a very cool piece!
