Astronaut Eugene autograph cost
Sent letter in July got back letter asking for 300.00 to be made out to "with a purpose"
Re: Astronaut Eugene autograph cost
Eugene who?
Re: Astronaut Eugene autograph cost
Cernan. He will, though, sign his book for free, so long as you provide a proper postage-paid maier for its return (and obviously, provide the book.)
Many of the Apollo-era astronauts do charge for their signature. It's rare to get one for free now.

Re: Astronaut Eugene autograph cost
^^^ Thats true. A lot of these guys are great signers and require donation...$300 is steep but depends on how bad you want it.
Re: Astronaut Eugene autograph cost
This is good info... thanks. I thought Gene Cernan had stopped signing ttm all together, except for the private signings through NovaSpace.
I have recently gotten Apollo astronauts Edgar Mitchell ($85) and Charlie Duke ($150) ttm and they both did wonderful jobs. Cernan is definitely steep at $300 but something to think about...

Re: Astronaut Eugene autograph cost
Fred Haise is $50 per or 3 items for $100
Re: Astronaut Eugene autograph cost
Yup, I have a request currently out to him, 3 for $100. It's been out for a month so I'm hoping it comes back soon.vjw0307 wrote:Fred Haise is $50 per or 3 items for $100

If you think $300 is steep, Aldrin goes for at least double that. Depending on the photo and what you want signed.

Re: Astronaut Eugene autograph cost
Yup, I'm well aware of Aldrin's pricing. Met him IP and got two books signed last year... but it was a books signing so he wouldn't sign anything else, obviously. Tough to decide if he's worth all that coin just to have him scribble on the photo. Logic (and my bank account) say NO.Hartster wrote:If you think $300 is steep, Aldrin goes for at least double that. I did get Haise back a couple days ago... I did the 3 for $100 deal which is completely reasonable and it's a donation anyway.
