how do you feel about celebrities charging to personalize

I can understand it if they have no other way of making money (like if they're retired) -- but only if they're charging a reasonable amount.

Now if it was a currently working celeb with like a bajillion bucks... :neutral:

If you go back and re-read the original post, you will see he/she is talking about a retired hockey player doing a scheduled signing at a sports show somewhere. The wrong term was used, unfortunately. The correct term is an inscription, which follows the player's actual signature. It's not about a personalization at all, nor is it about movie or TV star type celebrities.

Clearly, people need to be very carefull with the terminology they use or it can become quite misleading.

Whether the OP used the wrong terminology or not, my view is still the same! I dont see why celebs charge extra for personalisation or inscription. I don't mind paying to meet celebrities. I went to a convention on Saturday in fact! I am against having several different prices though! The signature is the autograph at the end of the day. I wouldn't pay x amount of money for an inscription when I can just get the signature much cheaper!
