Hola Cris ,pues hay cantidad de actores que leen su correo ,principalmente del pasado y clasicos ya que los contemporaneos estan siempre rodando o muy ocupados ,pero los clasicos la mayoria de veces leen sus cartas ,a mi personalmente me lo hacen saber con notas o cartas que me mandan junto a las fotos ,ademas ,tengo la suerte de tratar y conocer a muchas celebrities de entonces y eso jeje ayuda bastante tambien .....

i think most of OH celebrities read letters! i've received very warm reply from Rhonda Fleming and Arlene Dahl! i think it is very important for them to feel they are still loved by fans !

Buenas, soy español y me gustaría preguntar por los pasos que hay que seguir para enviar la carta correctamente y sin errores. Soy pésimo para usar correos (he tenido que votar este año así y me quería morir ) y no me gustaría que por mis despiste la carta se perdiera.

Hola OldSoul! Perdona por tardar tanto en contestar pero ACABO de ver tu comentario! No se por qué, pero aunque lo tengo activado, fanmail no me avisa cuando comenta alguien ... Te explico;
1. Escribe tu carta
2. Metela en un sobre con las fotos que quieras mandar para que te firmen (OJO! debes indicar a final de tu carta que te gustaría que te las manden de vuelta firmadas)
3. En el mismo sobre, mete otro sobre con tu nombre y dirección (para que te lo envíen de vuelta). Ese sobre debe de tener un sello para que te lo puedan re-enviar. Si lo envías a un país extranjero y no tienes sellos para que te lo envíen de vuelta, puedes siempre probar enviando un cupón internacional de respuesta, aunque des-afortunadamente, es más recomendable usar el sello que el cupón :-| Es más chungo, pero al menos te da más posibilidades de que te respondan.
4. Una vez que en el sobre hayas metido: las fotos, tu carta y el sobre sellado con tu dirección para que le re-envíen; no tienes más que cerrar el sobre y escribir en el dorso el nombre del famoso y su dirección, y luego debes sellarlo.
5. Mételo en el buzón, y a esperar!

Most these old actresses and actors never read letters. They have has so many letters over the years saying the same old boring stuff that they simply open the envelope throw the letter in the fire sign the photos and just send it back. They cannot be bothered reading ass licking comments and please sign this and please sign this I think your great. etc etc from people. It's very boring for them.

I must disagree with this statement, I guess it really does depend on the actor/actress, however. Vera has been good to me both times I got her-- once in 2009, and once last year. Last year she provided me a photo from Psycho, not only dedicated it with my name, but also sent a very small note with a "thank you" written on it, and kissed it in a vibrant red lipstick. I think sometimes maybe they might forget to dedicate. I always ask for a dedication and have had my share of those who don't.

I think she reads them and that many do. If anything, the secretary reads and makes a post it note of what to say, "Happy birthday mom" "To my greatest fan" etc. I remember someone got a Martin Sheen photo back that had the secretary's post it note on it.

Years ago I had written Vera and got no response. Months later I did it again and got no response. I kept seeing successes so i wrote a third time and explained that I hope she got them and understood if they got misplaced etc because I'm sure she gets so many. She not only signed my photo, but wrote on the cardboard I used to protect it, "I hope you get this one." So she reads them.
