For a moderator in the Autograph Collecting Discussions:

The last two posts made in this topic need to be edited because of language. I've already sent this member a PM reminding him to watch his language in the future.

Oh, I see now. You were talking about "pissed."

Nice job spotting that {up}

:lol:

Yep! I know it's a fairly minor one on the scale of what some consider "poor language", but I figured it's better safer than sorry. :)

Hey guys :mrgreen:

This is just what I was talking about before :lol: on this thread ( http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?t=38116 )

The word (or phrase) - p i s s e d - o f f - or - p i s s - o f f - in the UK are pretty bad swear words!!!! It is almost as bad as using the F-word in Britain :?

That's what I mean about variations from country to country. Also, the word - p i s s e d - on its own in the UK means drunk.

Language really is a minefield :lol:

Anyway, I have added all the pi - words to the banned list :wink: The only reason you can read them above is because I put a space between each letter :wink:

Hi Lisa {up}

No problem :D How are you doing?

It has been a while since we have spoken . . . only 90'ish days to go :shock: I feel like I've been there every day with you since the beginning :lol: (Well, not quite the beginning :wink: )

Is the meds situation sorted out? How immobile are you with your bump :wink:

All the best!

:lol: :lol: :lol:

Yeah, 90 some odd days to go :). Things have been pretty well the same. I've been skipping quite a few days with the meds, because they still give me the same side effects. Right now my left arm is all nasty looking considering the huge batch of hives I had the last time I took it. I'm also switching doctors after tomorrow (my last appointment with my current midwife). I have an ultrasound as well tomorrow to make sure everything is on target and doing well with the baby. My "bump" is still rather not noticeable, thank goodness :). I can still sleep on my stomach, etc. etc., which is really nice! With my son I didn't even barely show until I was 7 months, although overall I gained 20 lbs. with him and lost 30 right when I had him. This time I've only gained 6 lbs. up to this point, more than likely because I've been so sick with the PTU. I'm hoping with a switch of doctors/midwives that I'll be able to get a little more understanding about what the PTU is does to me and hopefully someone who is a bit more experienced in dealing with these issues. At my last few appointments, there was already talk of inducing me at 32-35 weeks and since there's absolutely no medical reason for it, I'm not at all comfortable with that. With my son I ignored a lot of the signs that I should have switched doctors and I ended up with a unwanted birth story as a result. The C-section with my son is the other reason that I shouldn't be induced unless it's absolutely necessary for the primary reason of uterine rupture (sounds not so pleasant, huh? :)), which could easily cause death to me and/or the baby if not treated promptly.

So, in essence, besides the side effects of the PTU, which I've been avoiding altogether lately, things have been great. The baby's gotten REALLY active most of the time. In the meantime, I'm starting to get busy with fixing up her room to be ready for her when the time comes.

P.S. I feel like all of you have been with me "from the beginning" (pardon the pun!) since I found out and announced the pregnancy at only 3 weeks :). Anyway, I'll do my best to get some new ultrasound pictures up soon from tomorrow's ultrasound!

That is pretty good news :)

I know this might seem strange, but you "sound" brighter than you have been recently :P

I think the change of Doctor may well be the best thing for you. Get a fresh pair of eyes and ears on the subject (as my grandad used to say!!)

Like I have said before, I was born 6 weeks early, and my nephew was born at only 24 weeks (he's fine by the way!!! - he's 6 now!)

But, after going through 2 inductions with my own two (listen to me, I sound like the mother, but you know what I mean!!!) I would say: hold onto your daughter for as long as you can!!!! She's in the best place already!

I would love to see some scan pics btw. Keep well, and keep bright!
