I have 237 outstanding since 2013. Those are a minimum of a dollar in stamps alone - let alone the pics, letter, and envelope inside. This is a fun hobby, but the dollars sure do add up.
One of the best ways to improve - send twitter, facebook and official website e-mails to the fighters and say "Hey, did you get my yellow envelope that I sent to American Top Team on November 1st?" (or something along those lines)
If they didn't get it - you can consider it lost and ask if there is a better address to send to. Otherwise, they may say "Hey, resend to a new address or try sending it again"
I use a strikethrough on my list for anything that has been lost so I know now to expect it back or even try following up on it any further.
All of my last 60 have been "blind addresses" to retired/old school vets by using their birth date and whitepages/peoplefinder. I've gotten a handful back but the majority of 'em are probably long gone.
