Sending gifts/birthday cards to celebrities

Unread post by camelias tragic »

I was just wondering, who has done this? Any pointers/things to avoid? I've never done it, so I was just curious. Thanks everyone.

I would avoid to send any large gifts in boxes as most celebrities are afraid since 9/11 and won't accept anything larger than a letter.

Of course you can send birthday cards to celebrities. Especially vintage stars are delighted about such nice post and often reply to your birthday greetings. But I would save my money on sending birthday cards to the current Hollywood A-list since you're chance of getting anything back won't increase.

Best,
Stephan

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of little presents have you sent?

I always send things I have made myself because it is more special. Usually it is handmade ear rings, necklaces or bracelets. Different styles depending on whether it's for a man or woman. I like sending these things because they are small and therefore don't require much postage plus I think jewelries are more special - and it is very likely they will keep it and perhaps even wear it - in opposite to such as teddy bears :D
