Signature size - PLEASE!

I'm tired of A4 size signatures

Maybe I'm alone, but I doubt it... I mean, the signature should have a special & limited "max size" in my opinion. Sometimes I see users who have a GIANT picture as signature, and I find it quite disturbing ;)

No offense to any special user, it's just a general thought.

Your opinions?

And of course, if mine is too big/if animated sigs aren't allowed, I'll obey! ;)

I find this topic a bit ironic as I was going about to post this idea in the moderator’s forum.

This sound like a wonderful idea as a large percentage of our users have a dial-up connection and these large signature force the forums to load slowly.

A new version of the forums is in production, and this may very well be one of the “rules”.

Some Of The Users Signatures Are Far Too Large. I Don't Mean To Be Rude But loveryan's Current Signature Stretches The Page & I Have To Scroll Across Alot To Read The Rest Of The Post.

I Think Maybe A Maximum Of 500x250 Pixels? And Maybe Just One Signature Per User, As I Know A Few Users Such As x hayley x & celebrityfan, Have 2 In Theirs..

Thank god I'm not the only one that thinks this. loveryan, Amber, R.S.V.P in particular, no offense but I have to scroll for the rest of the screen because their so big

I totally agree with you

It also gets on my nerves when you have to scroll across the page the whole time.

I will have a word with Admin about restricting the size of sigs

I only have one now! But yeah, I totally agree with huge signatures...my computer often crashes with some.
