What makes you so sure?

I met Ewan several times and I'll be honest, he's NOT the nicest guy.. well, he's ok.
Anyway, his TTM autograph never truly looked like his IP one, and it's not that hard to forge it anyway. So I always thought it could be sec.

But I just saw someone got him TTM on two Star Wars pics.. if there's one thing that truly makes Ewan annoyed when you meet him is if u ask him to sign a Star Wars pic. Unless for charity, he simply doesn't do it and he'd even shout at you for asking and refuse to sign anything else. Even for charity he doesn't always do it.
He used to sign Star Wars pics ages ago but stopped several years ago, ever since then it's a well-known 'no-no' if you meet him lol
So yeah, I HIGHLY doubt he'd sign them TTM.

EDIT: now obviously there's still a possibility these pre-signed b&w pictures he sends out are authentic, I dunno, but these SW ones I'm certain about.

I must've missed that success, but I knew he didnt sign Star Wars stuff, so you may be right there, but surely his secretary wouldnt sign Star Wars pics either, knowing that Ewan wouldnt? Weird.

Well, what I think could have happened is that usually they send the pre-signed ones anyway, perhaps they ran out and that secretary didn't think and did this one, maybe s/he isn't used to doing them
I saw several successes from him on pictures people send to him before so I suppose everytime they send out those they simply run out of pre-signed ones

I forgot to add Danny DeVito to my list and have just updated it.

And here's another typical sec sender that just came to my mind: Liam Neeson

Regarding Sam Neill, I can't tell you much on him since I've never studied his signature.

Stephan

I've been studiying signatures and their graphological traits for 15 years so far and published signature studies.

In some cases it's pretty obvicious that a secretary signs the fanmail, in other cases it's some hard work to confirm secretarial signatures (e.g. Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis, Charlton Heston).

This website exists because people from all over the world share the same hobby and passion. I've no clue what the existence of this website has got to do with secretarial signatures like you referred to it.

Best,
Stephan

okay thanks, but are you positive all the people you said have secretaries sign, or are you making an educated guess?

i only meant that if so many people sign secretarial, it seems pointless, just a joke
