Yet another possible problem with whosurdaddy
Well, I know this is shocking, but this member seems to be at it AGAIN. Here is the link where I replied since he rudely interjected his opinion, without citation, yet again, without being asked to. I tried to be as nice as possible in cautioning him about doing so, but I'd love to hear other mods opinions of what should be done about this ongoing problem with certain members in the future.

Good job, Lisa
I think you were very cautious in your warning so as not to upset whosurdaddy. An angry whosurdaddy is the last thing we need right now
I don't exactly know of anything that should be done; for now I think we should just continue to keep an eye on certain members. (I'm sure we all know which members to look out for

You were absolutely spot on their Lisa, good job
whosurdaddy's comments were really uncalled for. I could have understood if someone had asked for an opinion to see if the auto was genuine or not, but his comments came pretty much 'out of the blue'.

Don't talk to me about that member

He should really learn to wait until he is asked if he has nothing positive to say. Actually I very rarely (if ever) see him have anything positive to say

Where is your caution to him? Did you PM it? Or have I totally lost the plot

Ian

Ok, and here's the latest very questionable post made by whosurdaddy:
Again, any advice on what should be done about this member?whosurdaddy wrote:Hey Dredguy,
Quite honestly you ranting and raving the same nonsense before every post lately is getting really mundane. In one sentence you say"I do not care if these TTM successes are secretarial/PP/whatsoever" and in the next sentence you say"The interest of this hobby is to find what autographs are probably real and others which are definitely not" Which is it? Studies have been done apparently to your chagrin and not only have studies been done but most of the celebs. in interviews regarding their signing habits have admitted to such. These studies and interviews have not been done by novices, but collectors/dealers who have been collecting for 15,20,30 even 40 years+. Beyond popular belief there are some young collectors on here who actually care that if they send to a certain person that they will receive an authentic autograph. Why waste your time and money( time writing and addressing a letter and envelope, postage, irc's, cost of the envelopes, cost of pics. or ink cartridges, etc.) to send to someone who it has been reported for many many years they don't sign thru the mail and everytime you or others write to that person it just confirms that they still are not signing thru the mail. Most if not all have already been found out if their real or not. Like I said in a previous post, young collectors are at a disadvantage because most have already been reported many years ago and for some unknown reason they don't continue to publish these reports which should be published at least bi yearly. Myself, RSVP and a few others, we don't come on here to bust B#@** We are just here to try to help out and let alot of the young collectors on here know. Quite honestly if I didn't have a HUGE passion for this hobby I definately.... Never Mind.
All the Best
