Anyone here play The Sims 2?

I know kinda geeky I was wondering does anyone here play The Sims 2? Do you use the exchange? http://www.thesims2.ea.com/exchange If so, once Sims you have downloaded from the site, how do you get to actually play them on the game? They're not in the Sim Bin

I used to love playing the Sims on the computer- once got a job as an Astronaut; I used to walk out the house in my space suit! Then their were the 'legendary' house fires...

Yes, I do play the Sims 2 (although it's been about 1 month since I've done so because I've been a little busy).

However, I've never used the exchange before so I can't actually answer your question. I really hope someone else can help you with your question though.

What I like to do however, is design and create my own sims and play them in my game. It's not that difficult to have a sim created that is kind of a mirror image of yourself - or your family or friends!! Additionally, I've been able to build a house which looks very similar to the place I'm living in now

Hey TheMailman,

Well, when you download sims, the whole sim goes into the Sims 2 Body Shop. But if you go into Create a Sim, you can use the clothes/makeup/hair.. ect. that was on that sim that you downloaded on a sim that you make. So basically you don't get the whole sim on the game at first, you just get the stuff on the sim.

I own The Sims 2 for my PC but I haven't played it in almost 2 months.
