Best part in receiving a success?

Unread post by AkaneLinda »

The instant I realised there's a mail for me in my mailbox :D Even without knowing who it's from! I like the thrill of finding out when i opened my mail

If I know the envelope in my mailbox is another TTM success ... then that's the most exciting part {liam}!!

If there is no return address then it's fun to guess who it's from. I love TTM replies

I don't really get the same sense of excitement you lot do, as I write the initials of the person responding on the back of the return envelope, or sometimes their surname, or character name (usually only do this for Lost cast members!). I know this ruins the element of surprise, but I'm just glad to be getting a reply in the first place.

But for me, the best part about successes, is when the person personalizes, or sends a note, or letter, or in some way acknowledges that they've actually read my letter. I just got a reply today from Richard Ruccolo (who played Pete in Two Guys and a Girl). He signed and personalized my photo and sent me a short typed letter, thanking me for my letter, and mentioning several points I had put in my letter. That kind of thing makes me appreciate it even more, as you get to feel that the person really appreciates you taking the time to write to them. Anybody else feel the same?

[agree] as well Keith

It's really nice to get a note with your success. I've received a few in the past, and it's really nice for them to acknowledge that they've read your letter. It just shows how nice they are as a person, as they take their time for their fans.

I just loovee getting mail :D Especially autographs in the mail  Go mail! Haha. Unfortunately I've been on a dry spell for about a month or more. So I'm kinda sadd..
