Nathan,
I think hand-writing your letter is better then typing them.
Though I would like to say do what you are comfortable with. If you don't like your hand-writing, your not going to be comfortable with sending hand-written letters. Also if you think that typing your letters is impersonal, don't type them.
It's a good thing that celebritys are able to read your letters but also that you like how it looks.
That's my opion.
Best Wishes,
Mimmi

I've had the same response both ways. Do what ever your more comfortable with (or neatest
) You have to make sure they can read it. Usually when I use a SASE I write a hand written note. Just do what you like best. (And remember, don't do whats quickest just to get the notes in the mail) Good luck with your collecting!

Hi Nathan,Nathan wrote:Is it better to send hand-written letters or printed?
I personally don't think it matters. I type because I do not have great handwriting!
I can understand the merit of writing by hand, but in reality it is more likely that an agent will read your letter! Even if you are lucky enough to get your letter read by the celeb, they would probably appreciate being able to read it clearly and quickly.
When my agent passes on autograph requests for me, he just sends me a name and address by email together with any special requirements. It is rare that I get to see a fan letter in full, and I am only a lowly TV presenter!
So, my advice is do whatever is easier for you, but typing certainly does not seem to hinder a response (even though I am collecting in my spare time for a charity, I have just got back over 240 autographs in under 3 months by typing!)
Hope this helps!

Nope, it is John Prescott who is the Deputy Prime Minister, Tony Blair's second in command!Dubsbball14 wrote:Ya I'm from the US and I didn't know who it was. I thought it was you at first alien vs. predator.
He's the one always getting in trouble for hitting members of the public - do a Google.com seach under "prescott hit egg man" to see what I mean!
Cheers! {thumb2}
