LOTR cast

I've been lucky enough to go to three LOTR conventions in the past two years. I went to the first ORC in Pasadena that had all four hobbits: Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, and Dom Monaghan. Royd Tolkien and John Rhys-Davies were there as well.

I went again this past January and the guests included Elijah, Sean & Billy, as well as John Noble, Miranda Otto & Daniel Reeve.

And last, I went to ELF in Secacus, NJ in July of this year and met again Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, John Noble & Daniel Reeve.

Each time, I've gotten everyone's photo op and autograph, so they got quite pricey for me, but it was worth it. I showed Elijah a picture he personalized to me in the mail some 13 years ago and he was floored.

If anyone wants more pics from these events, let me know.

I myself have had the honour of meeting Sean Astin, David Wenham, John Rhys-Davies, Lawrence Makoare, Bernard Hill and Phillippa Boyens. But I have to say...you beat me!! Well done! Keep going at it and I'm sure you'll be able to meet them all!

I really want to get Ian McKellen, Liv Tyler, Andy Serkis and Orlando Bloom's autographs. Anybody else will just be the icing on the cake, so to speak.

Bernard Hill would be cool too, I love him.

Wow, that sounds awesome! I've met Elijah Wood too and Viggo Mortensen - they were both really friendly.

I would love to see that old autograph you got from Elijah Wood!

You're welcome!

I got that picture in the mail when I was 13 years old, I'm now 26, so I've had it for a long time!
