SFM is a company that sends preprinted or autopenned autographs of celebrities. A preprinted autograph is similar to printing an autograph off of your computer. You can find out more about studiofanmail in this forum

SFM is just an abbreviation for Studio Fan Mail. Studio Fan Mail is a 3rd party company who are hired by certain celebrities to handle autograph requests for them. All autographs from SFM are fakes, the are either pre-prints or autopens.

A Pre-print, basically put, is just a copy of an autograph. A celebrity signs one photo & copies are made from the original autograph.

With an autopen aka Automatic pen, a machine signs the signature. A autopen is a machine which can sign a person's signature. A celebrity writes their signature & it's put into a templete in the machine & the machine will write the signature from the templete onto the photo.

There is a list of SFM clients located at http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?t=26981 . You can also write to SFM clients TTM (thru the mail). Most SFM clients also have a writing address but, beforwarned, even if you write to an SFM client TTM, they will probably send you an SFM. There are exceptions, for example, Tim Allen & Bob Saget are clients of SFM but they also sign autographs TTM.

So what happend is that you wrote to Angelina Jolie at her writing address & someone forwarded your request/address to SFM to send out the autograph.
