This is one of my first posts on the forum but I've enjoyed going through and reading the In Person Successes and thought I would post some of mine over time on here so you guys can read them and I'd like to see what you all think of them.
I'm only 20 years old but I've had the chance to meet a lot of musicians/entertainers/athletes in my area. I live by Niagara Falls but get up to Toronto quite often so I get the chance to meet a lot of people there.
I had the honor of meeting one of my heros in November 2005 in Toronto. I had just seen Jethro Tull @ Massey Hall in Toronto. I am a big fan of them it was my 3rd time seeing them and I went with my dad who was a big fan in the seventies. It was his 25th Tull show. After the show we decided to wait around the back of the hall and Tull's keyboardist came out and we talked to him and he signed some stuff for us. We also met this great violionist who played with Tull. We asked about Ian and he said he might come out later but nothing was forsure. We waiting for another 30 minutes and sure enough a big bodyguard came out and said that if we wanted to talk to Ian he would be ok with it but all that he wanted was to get into the van that was waiting for him, then we could talk to him. He walked past us and then we were allowed to go meet him. He is such a great guy, he signed some stuff for us and joked around with how many times we had seen them (he said we must have a lot of frequent flyer miles). He was in no rush to leave and was very accomadating. I wish I had of had my camera with me but I did get some nice autographs. I am going to try to upload them here but it may take me a while to figure it out.
