Hey~
I'm planning on sending a 9x12 envelope out to the UK. I was wondering, how many stamps should I put on it? And also, how many IRCs should I include so that the person I'm writing to can send whatever it is back to me?
Thanks~
A few questions on stamps/IRCs..

Hi rafe
I assume you're from the US? If so, and you're sending out a 9x12 envelope it will probably cost $1.70, or go to your post office and ask. For postal prices, click here.
You should send at least 2 or 3 IRC's with your request.
Good luck!

im a lil confused myself. then again..im a blonde too lol.
i am from the US and wanting to send a letter to a couple international places. most via venue places i see are either in UK or Canada. I guess I have 2 questions. #1 - if i send like a 9x12 to UK or Canada how many stamps would i need to put on the outside envelope that includes the SASE inside? #2 - how many IRCs would i need to include with the SASE? (im also confused on weights based on g's..is there a way to determine like ounces or lbs? *sighs*
maybe ill understand someday lol

Just in case you send a request like in Canada you'll need to put Canadian Stamps on your return address. As for the IRC's you'll need at least 2 of them if not 3 depending on the weight.asparks wrote:im a lil confused myself. then again..im a blonde too lol.i am from the US and wanting to send a letter to a couple international places. most via venue places i see are either in UK or Canada. You should do what I do. Whenever I send a request I only put my address on the return envelope just incase there's no enough postage the envelope still comes to me. Just have to pay whatever postage is missing.
Hope this helps

Hi asparks
For your SASE, you'll either need UK or Canadian stamps (depending on where you're sending your package to) to be stuck on the SASE. If you can't get these stamps, send a SAE (self addressed envelope) and IRC's instead.
Good luck!

If your envelope contains (what I would assume) a letter, photo or other item to be signed and SASE, $1.70 in US postage should probably be sufficient to the UK and $0.90 to Canada (both up to 40g). If in doubt, take your package to the post office and have it weighed. Postal prices can be found here.asparks wrote:#1 - if i send like a 9x12 to UK or Canada how many stamps would i need to put on the outside envelope that includes the SASE inside?
