what kind of A-listed actors & actrices sends authentic

i am wondering what kind of A listed actors and actrices are sending out authentics trought the mail?
i really want to know it so if anyone on this site can help me,thank you very much

well im sure there are lots...depending on what you consider 'a class'
lol, ive heard of successes from the likes of meryl streep, kate winslet, tom hanks, and those kind of people...
then there are great actors like hugh grant, colin firth, julianne moore, tim robbins, but all of these people are probably not what you consider 'a class'
i think your best bet is just to think of your fav's, then look in the forums and also in the alphabet listings and see what others have come back with from these celebs!

Most celebs reply if you include an SASE/SAE + IRC's in your letter. However, I would suggest you to browse through the Feedback and Via Venue feedback forum.
In that way you'll get a grip on who are good signers and who's not..


Remember; only send letters to the celebs that you admire, sending to others will only be a waste of money!

Most A-List celebrities don't respond to fan mail (if at all). This is probably because they receive a lot of fan mail and don't have enough time to respond to all of them. If they do respond, a lot of the time they may be PP's, Autopens etc.

As others have said, you're best off browsing the forums and writing to celebrities you like, rather than targeting a specific group of people (in this case, A-List celebrities). You'll be happy to receive a success from them rather than from someone "famous" that you may not be a big fan of.

In many cases, the only way to get authentic autographs from specific A-List celebrities will be in person.

I got to agree with nowandagain, only write to celebrities who you are fans of, not celebrities who are A-list celebrities or celebrities which high feedback or celebrities who respond quickly.

Your autograph collection will mean more to you if you write to celebrities who you are fans of.

yes, it means a lot when you get an autograph from a favorite celebrity. I only write to people whos work I enjoy. Writing to someone just because they are famous is a waste of time, and it clogs up the mailboxes for others who may really be fans of the celeb. This leads to celebrities getting too much mail, and the actor could start sending out preprints or autopens, or quitting signing all together.

Excellent point. And also, too many people writing to a celebrity can also make the celebrity decide to use a 3rd party company such as Studio Fan Mail or Celebrity Merchandise.
