You should include return postage with your request. Celebrities have no obligation to send something to you if you don't pay for return postage. Sending a SASE is a matter of politeness, and makes the whole fan mail process easy for them.

You have to remember that celebrities receive a lot of fan mail and do not work just to pay for postage! If a lot of people do not send return postage, it adds up - especially when you consider they may have to reply to 100 or even 1000 requests without postage.

No, that doesn't sound right at all. Ask for a photo, but don't mention anything about envelopes.

hey i don't know much about ircs and i don't think they sell it in my post office. what do i write if i write it to a celeb via a filming set in canada and i send a SAE and photos?

i looked up IRC or international reply coupon at usps.com and there were no results. so i just asked anne hathaway politely if she can provide it and that im stupid and i don't know anything about postage LMAO
