Hi James :D

I hadn't thought of that!! If it was just individual threads I'd move and delete, but because they were part of a perfectly normal feedback thread I just edited them and let Fanmail-Bot do the rest.

Thanks for the tip {up}

There was a spam post in forum ideas, in a topic that I get email notifications on, so I pressed the "!" button since only Ian mods that forum, so it could be deleted faster. But then when I went to games the same bot had posted the same post in one of the games topics. I deleted the post, but there was no red Ban button, and I am pretty sure the user hadn't been banned yet when I got there. Anyone know what's going on?

I think the site is probably hacked again, as the last time it was hacked, the warning button came up not authorized as it does now.

The ban button is no longer with us :lol:

It's annoying that only Ian moderates the Ideas forum as I know he is very busy, but I think the posts need to be deleted ASAP.

I deleted the posts. Thanks James {up}

Sorry guys, i temporally removed the ban button. A lot of new members were getting banned without reason.

It will be back soon.

Admin, you just reminded me of something that's happening in the JM forums. Several of the JM's were listing the usernames of members that hadn't made any posts in the 'spam user' thread.

I noticed that too. I think we should be able to ban and JM's shouldn't :roll:

[agree] with TheMailman, although if the spam is being reduced then it may not be necassary for us to ban, but defiantley JMs shouldn't be allowed to do so {clap}

Especially if they can do it in any forum, and we are restricted to only certain forums. :|

I don't think they know they can warn/ban at all. {up}
