I always thought that you had to be promoted meritoriously by others, not ask to be promoted.

It seems that Dallas is a bit confused as a result of the current ranking system, but Ian made the point clear in the sticky in the Moderators forum:

Sorry, no it doesn't It just means that from now on new moderators will be limited to 3 forums.

Well I guess I really had no idea that Dallas was a girl....I always thought Dallas was a boy, but I guess that does explain a few things...
