When to send...?

Hey. this is going to be my first time sending out to a venue. and i know there is a thread that tells you about when to send it out. but since lincoln's + president's day are coming up and since its a holiday and the mail will stop? so im confused. okay i live in California and the venue is in Texas. and the performance date is 2/21 so can someone PLEASE tell me when i should send out my letter. thank you!

As I am not familiar with how long it would normally take a letter to reach Texas from where you are, or how long the post office will be closed for, here's the general rule: have your request arrive between 2-3 days and a week before whomever you write to performs at the venue.

Therefore, make sure your request arrives at the venue between the 14th and 19th of February.

Looking at the calendar, it's probably a good idea to get your request out now, or in the next day or two at latest.
