i have had a couple of successes with baseball players. If you want to write to an active baseball player, then what you could do is write to the via the clubhouse they are playing at(if they play for the Diamondbacks, send the letter to the stadium in Arizona) for retired ones, the best bet is to ask on here.

I've written to many. That's how most of my collection comes around.

Like jennyblue said, your best bet, if they're active, would be to send to the team address.

I've gotten the following from requests like that.

Kiko Calero
Orlando Palmeiro
Ronnie Belliard
Larry Bigbie
Abraham Nunez
Dan Haren
And probably some more.

As jennylue also said, if they're retired, your best bet is to ask for and addy on here.

I've gotten these from their home address

Bryn Smith
Al Hrabosky
Marty Marion
And many more

Or, if the former player is now coaching for a team, you can do the first method as well.

You could also try to go to Spring Training games. You're closer to the players and there's not as much people there unlike a game during the regular season.I got 6 autographs in 2 days! Show up 3 hours before the game starting time as well if you want a good spot. After that, it's all luck and timing.
