Thanks again for the addy AutoHound537. I got Thome the other day too. I have gotten his autgraph a few time before two. He is such a great man. Not only is he talented at baseball but he will sign for almost anyone (especially the kids). I have been to two games where he has played. Both games he has spent almost a half an hour before games signing for any kid who wanted his autographs. Plus his autograph is worth a couple hundred and he still is willing to sign. That is a mark of a great man.
Got an interesting one from Wiki Gonzalez yesterday (of the White Sox). He signed one card, returned the other and added a signed photo.
There was a note saying he does not sign the enclosed card (with him pictured alongside Mike Darr). Darr was his best friend and hasn't signed it since his death. he did say he'd be glad to sign anything else I have, but I'm good with tis, I think.

thats interesting that wiki would add a signed photo after he alrady signed the card. I have met Jim a couple of times and you are right I think more players need to be like this to their fans. I mean we are pretty much paying their salary, aren't we?
Not sure if anyone still looks at this topic but in case anyone has, I just got Doug Mientkavich's auto through the NYY Spring Training. Now I have 12/25.
