OK, here is my little story. Please note that i am an amatuer at this. I just started sending out letters for the first time in like 9 years.
OK, i went and bought a couple of 8x10 envelopes the other day. I have a ton of stamps.I wrote a letter that day. i wanted to send it out with a SASE. How can i do that without knowing the number of stamps i should put on the regular envelope? I'm sooooooooo confused. I don't get it. And how do i send it in the post office? Ahhhhhhhhh....! I'm confused!
if you send your letter before May 15, a letter and SASE will be .63,
on your SASE you will need to put .97 because of the postage rate increase which takes effect may 15

on the .63 use one .39 and one .24 stamp(if you have one) otherwise use two .39 stamps
on the .97 use two .39 and one .24 stamp or three .39 ones
or you can go to the post office to get the exact postage
