Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, in fact, it probably is, and has actually probably been asked before, but i couldn't find it anywhere
BUT:

what is the difference between an autopen and a PP?
how can you tell?

a autopen is a machine that signs the pic. a Pre print is a copy.
