Yeah...man. Your pretty lucky! I never get to backstage things. The closest i did were all at the same show. The first one was one of the members of Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, i almost ran in to her. The second was the crazy bassist from Flogging Molly, i pretty much ran into him.
And the last on was from the lead singer of Street Dogs and ex-Dropkick Murphys singer, i don't know about him....he was like 3 feet away from me, thats all. At the Cain's Ballroom, anything happens. My sisters boyfriend knows the bartender (the bartender is important at the Cain's
) so...i can pretty much get backstage anytime i want. But i do try....i'm gonna try to stay after for the Wolfmother concert that is coming up.

I might send them my cd sleeve for "A Matter Of Life And Death", but i think it may be too risky. You think its a good idea or a bad one? Or i could just buy a promo shoot off of ebay or something and send it for them to sign. I don't know. I don't think Maiden will come back to the U.S. in a while. I don't blame them at all though. They are treated sooooooooo badly here.

Re: Hard Rock?
I would send the booklet, but you just have to make sure the venue passes on the mail. Leave the signatures up to the band, you know...
I've sent out almost all my cd booklets for signing, I mean, what am I going to do with them? I rarely read the lyrics, and any info I need I can find on the internet, plus, it's very well worth it when you get that bad boy back signed!

Re: Hard Rock?
True...i guess i could too. I just look up my lyrics on the internet. I should just send mines anyway! Haha...i have no use for mine anyway, either. I'm fixing to send some more off when i get some more stamps and envelopes. I'm gonna send out Bruce Dickinson to the U.K., Alice Cooper via venue, i'm gonna try Paul Rodgers, Flogging Molly via venue, and Sammy Hagar again. So....i guess that's it for now until i think of some more. I got like 30 rock bands and artists currculating right now. Cool stuff...
BTW, i just noticed the change of the forum. I thought it was pretty neat. {thumb2}

Re: Hard Rock?
Got another one yesterday, whom I can't add in my 'Heavy Metal' post
Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. I sent a VV to the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, for a show last week.
He signed an 8x10 and added, 'Clint, always keep it Rock N' Roll!'.
