How Come?
I was curious as to why many of you (posters) use really small, white standard envelopes. I mean no offense, but I would be mad if I had to fold my pics and use smaller pics. Just a question.
Re: How Come?
yeah I agree with you, I use large envelopes, larger than my SASE's.
Re: How Come?
Well, to answer your question, sometimes we send celebrities things like trading cards or index cards to sign. It wouldn't be necessary to send say a 9X12 envelope as an SASE. Also, some members including myself prefer smaller photos because they are more easily stored and the cost of sending them is also cheaper.SmallvilleFanatic wrote:I was curious as to why many of you (posters) use really small, white standard envelopes. Re: How Come?
yes but some people use small white envelopes & fold an 8x10 size picture to fit it into the envelope. I think it ruins the value..
Re: How Come?
I personally have never seen that occur, but surely that will lessen the value of the autograph! :neutral:dgangel wrote:yes but some people use small white envelopes & fold an 8x10 size picture to fit it into the envelope. I think it ruins the value..
Re: How Come?
I don't think that many people do fold them like that, but it is this persons choice. It would be cheaper to send as it would be smaller, so perhaps that is why.
