Ozzfest?????

Anybody know if Ozzfest passes fan mail. I didn't really know where to put this because its not a venue. I can't find any contact info for Ozzfest. Anyone think they may pass fan mail?

I dont think you can contact ozzfest directly, but I found the page with the tour dates, so you could try one of the venues on the tour http://www.ozzfest.com/static_content/v ... dates.html

according to the list in the via venue forum the shoreline ampatheater in California will pass fanmail. its July 19

Yeah, I'd definitely use the Shoreline Amph. address. That's the only one I've had any success with.

Although I haven't had mail refused from any of those venues, I know I've written to bands/people at the White River Amph. in Seattle, the Gorge in George, WA (matter of fact, I don't remember ever having a success from the state of Washington...), and the Verizon Wireless Amph. in Indianapolis.

But the Shoreline Amphitheatre's date is July 19th, so we'd better be getting our stuff ready! I'm sending to at least Zakk Wylde myself.

I was gonna send to Zakk, but i ran out of stamps and 8x10 envelopes. Bummer. I might send him later on in the year if he does a BLS U.S. tour. If you were to write to Zakk via Ozzy, how would you write it?

Dude, the show is on the 19th, you have time, heck, I'll mail you 4 stamps so you can send him a picture!!! It's well worth the shot, I can't find a good contact addy for him and I already know personally the Shoreline passes on fan mail (that's where I had the Josh Homme success, and that was a large festival, too). It's the best chance you're going to have! But you can't get it if you don't write.

Alright man!! I'll give it a shot if you are willing to give me some stamps! Just kidding..... . I have two stamps left over, i'll only need 2 more. I can get those. You think 2 stamps will hold a SASE, letter, and a folded poster? I'll send one out today if i can. I need to find my other 8x10 envelope, though. Thanks for the address! I really hope it works!

No, i take that back. Its a little too early. I might send it next tuesday or monday. Or would it be a good time to send it out this week?

You could send anytime next week really. This week may be early.

To tell you the truth, you could probably still send out on Saturday the 14th and it would get there on time. But yeah, anytime through next week would be fine.
