Keira Knightley

Unread post by SkeetRag »

Hi, I was planning on sending a picture that I made: Image
to be signed by Keira Knightley. From what people say, they sometimes get personalized ones, and sometimes receive standard headshot photos. I really really want this picture signed, and people have said they received their original photo even when it didn't get signed. I do understand that there is a chance I might never see this drawing again, but I think I'm willing to risk it. I just want to know what anyone else thinks. Suggestions to increase success, and things of that nature.

Hi SkeetRag {up}

I agree with Andy 316.

What I would do is either produce a hi-res scan of the drawing and 'laser print' a copy out onto good quality white laser paper, or scan it and print on glossy or matt photopaper with a good inkjet printer.

Failing that, you can always scan (at a push take a digital photo) of the drawing and get a proper photo print made of it at a lab or in one of those in-store machines?

Then, if you get a success back with your copy, you can always wait a while and resend the original to try your luck and get that signed too ;-) If it doesn't come back the second time, you really haven't lost anything!

Just my opinion though! Good luck :D

Hey, thanks guys. This is a tough decision. I think I might just send the original though. It would be awesome to get it signed, and if I never got it back I would be pissed, but I could always draw another one. I'm still thinking about it though.
