Envelopes letters are sent in

Hi. I know it's probably been asked before, but I don't wanna know how big the SASE's are, but what size envelopes do you usually send the letter/SASE in? Thanks!

I normally send the SASE in the same size envelope the SASE is in and write DO NOT BEND. But if you do not care about a bent photo then to save stamps and money I would fold a 9x12 SASE into a normal 4x9 envelope

How many stamps does it take to send it?

A 9x12 with a 9x12 folded inside and a letter is 60 cents. So you can save 14 cents if you use 60 cent stamps instead of two 37 cent ones.

I use a 9 x 12 envelope for my requests. and i include a 8 x 10 envelope so they can return my pic...The problem by folding a 9 x 12 envelope in a 9 x 12 envelope is that if it stays folded to long it's going to damage the picture.
