Strange Christopher Lee Success... Not right guy

I sent a letter to the actor Christopher Lee, who's been in Dracula, The Man With the Golden Gun, Star Wars etc. To a play in New York that was in his page in the Fanmail.biz database. This was in April.

Today I recieved an envelope back with a handwritten letter and signed photo from a stage actor called Christopher Lee. Not the guy I wanted. The letter just said that he was a fan of the other Christopher Lee as well, and if I was in New York I should drop down t the theatre and get free tickets from him and that everyone enjoyed my letter. He basically made a bit of a joke about it. So I'm not very happy.

I did recieve a photo from the guy though, which wasn't really what I was after.

So I've learnt a lesson to make sure it's the right person doing VV.

Thats really disappointing. Hopefully you'll find another address for him as hes a great actor. Also thanks for reporting this, as I'll now be double checking before sending via venue!

The christopher lee you are looking for only sends stamped autographs. He even states it on his website.

ozzman is correct. His official site states that he sends stamped autos, unless you pay to join his fan club (or something like that...not sure of the reason, but I know an authentic will cost you $$$

I'm going to keep trying VV. I've seen several recent VV successes for him on other sites. To be honest I am relatively happy with a stamped photo.

hey! i just got back from summer camp. but i also sent to this address as well thinking it was the actor from lord of the rings and i got the same response and letter! it was a bit dissapointing.
