Celebrities charging for autographs at conventions or private signings is an indicator, but not a sure sign if they will sign for free through the mail or not.mjsavage2001 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 1:03 pmHave you seen what he charges at shows and conventions? That alone should have told you that he's not going to sign for free. And having his home address doesn't really matter, he is not walking out to the mailbox. Most celebrities don't receive mail at home, important mail (like bills) goes to managers that take care of them. They also have assistants at home and the assistants have instructions for what to do with fan mail and the like.ladychristina wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 5:31 pm I found a great address for him in Florida . I believe it was his home address. And I got nothing . He is just to big of a celebrity. . Sorry you got nothing back. But I will say, is some celebrities get a little too big for their britches and think they don’t have to do anything for but you will still support them. You would think they would at least try to accommodate their fans.

the controversial Chevy Chase thread on here is an example of how weird this TTM system gets.TalesFromTheCollection wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 3:28 pmCelebrities charging for autographs at conventions or private signings is an indicator, but not a sure sign if they will sign for free through the mail or not.mjsavage2001 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 1:03 pmHave you seen what he charges at shows and conventions? I say better off going the convention way for the 100% authentic rather than settling for something that will seemingly be questionable in a TTM system.
Everyone wants "free stuff" and despite many knowing about their convention appearances + charging, they like to bypass the idea of paying for the convention route (which btw, they accept mail ins at the conventions a lot of times). Not to mention, many celebrities also got webstores to buy signed stuff as well as managers who can try to arrange certain requests if you are fair about it.
Let's be honest - if we respect the celebrities for this idea of asking for an autograph and they have been charging, I say please do them a favor and honor their wishes to buy if they are trying to make a living now doing these things.
