On January 14, 2014, I emailed Lee Child's management through his website (which is in the data base) requesting an autographed bookplate. They were very friendly, requested my address, and said it would be mailed the following week The autographed bookplate arrived on January 21, 2014.

Lee Child is the pen name for Jim Grant, British author of the Jack Reacher novels.

I have really enjoyed the "Reacher" series until this last year. Why have I ceased enjoyment simply explained "Donald Trump" and the MAGA cult. The USA no longer feels the same ie no longer the Land of the Free. The freedom of the lucky people who reached her shores to begin a new successful life, no.longer possible for non whites. There is a line in History that needs to be recognised and America has to address this as a new beginning. Everyone needs to either acclaim or reject the "Trump" legacy of it will define America forever.
There has always been issues with the Black and Indigenous peoples, so I guess the dream of America was always .blurred. However, the MAGA Cult has finally won.
For me even fictitious character's need strong ethics and would love to see "Reacher" come off the fence and stand against the Trump version of the USA.

Kathleen Hall I would love to hear of other "Reacher" fans thoughts on.this subject, for the record I'm 82 years old..
