Today I went to the Atonement UK Premiere at Leicester Square, LONDON. I was (what I thought) very late arriving at 2.15PM, but it turned out the barriers hadn't even arrived!
I had the long wait until 5.45PM, when the cast & guests started to arrive.

First out was Kiera, who looked incredable in the dress she was wearing. It looked more like a toga! She looks so much thinner than she does on TV.. her bones clearly visable. First she posed for the press then did TV interviews, then came to sign autographs. I was the very first one she signed, and she signed my autograph book. I was very happy as I got a more fuller 'Kiera K' signature, where as everyone else just got a simple K.
Next out was director of the film Joe Wright, with Rosamund Pike. Both signed for everyone waiting, and both signed my autograph book. Joe also directed Pride & Prejudice.
They were followed by the author of the novel Atonement, Ian McEwan, who didn't sign.
Next out was James McAvoy, who signed for everyone in one section of crowd, then was rushed away by his 'minders' before he got to me! He looked as if he really wanted to sign more, but his guards wouldn't let him.
Last out was Vanessa Redgrave. She took about 40 minutes to sign and talk to everyone who was waiting. A very nice lady!
That was all who came. There was no one on the guest list who wasn't involved with the film! I was suprised as usually premieres in London get alot of celebrity guests!
Anyway I got some good pictures of Kiera which I will upload tomorrow, along with scans of the autographs I got.
