pakman14 is again attempting to sell magazines for his school through the JM forum . I would like admin's input on this issue considering Fudgemonkey's attempt at selling fanmail.biz T-shirts as well.

A few of the jm's are spamming the feedback forum with "great success" posts.

Chanin- http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/memberlis ... le&u=12578

Also, this user shouldn't be a junior moderator. He/she is asking if studio fanmail preprints are authentic.

In another thread I told Chanin to stop spamming the forum with Great Success and she said she would stop...seems like she forgotten...

Some JMs annoys me as well...they ask questions that normal authgraph collectors should know... (Even though I am not a total expert myself)...

I found this to be quite hilarious (posted in a thread in the JM forum):

i would definitely be willing to help out in any way, georgestar. my term as a JM is coming to an end (provided that i get passed on to a mod, which i think i will). im also a trusted auto buyer, seller, and trader (though that doesnt really mean much...)

-Fudgemonkey
Talk about a JM that's full of themselves ! Just proves my point about how some JMs won't ever be ready to be a mod in my eyes (not to mention some other very un-mod like behavior from this member!).

Hey guys,

Sorry (again) for my absence! I really wish I could be on more often...

If we are to promote anyone to Junior Moderator status (which I still think is majorly flawed) they should not be allowed to use any moderator powers (move, delete, etc.) If I recall correctly, even users with 0 posts can be made Junior Moderators simply by asking. How can we know if we trust them with these powers if they've never posted before?

I think we either need a major overhaul of the JM system or (preferably) just get rid of it altogether and go back to the old system.

I couldn't agree more with what you said!!!

I have been reading a lot of the threads in the JM section and have found that a lot of what is being posted is getting more and more rediculous by the day. Now Brando has returned making a statement that it is really him and that he is sorry, if you read the thread you will see how "proper" the JM are handling this (Some are really being civil). More and more arguements and fights are occuring. I also got a PM from pakman asking me if i wanted to buy something from him. It is getting rather annoying. JM powers should be restricted and should only be focused on helping the forum. I think with all the power they are receiving is allowing them to think that the "name" is just what makes them important to fanmail. I think in my opinion that those newbie JM with 0 posts should be taken out. Each junior mod should be voted on (May take a while but i think it should happen) and those who are just posting good success and so on should be removed until they are found able to be a JM again.

I agree on the Junior Mod should be voted on part. Some fo the Jr.Mods just doesn't know how to use their powers or just doesn't help or sometimes just make matters worst...(seen by Jr.Mods' reponse on Brando/Brandon's "Ban Me" Thread)

Members either asked to be moderator, or the moderators nominated someone to be moderator, and then that person was voted on. No Junior Moderator system at all...
