[quote="Fudgemonkey"]I'm mixed on this topic...For example, when I write emails to celebs, I tend to write more than one by accident (I can never keep track of who I write to)...So now I have double Bob Dole, Al Roker, John Travolta, and Jim Davis. I have no need for two, so I think it makes sense to sell them.

I can see accidentally getting doubles through e-mail (but come on, who would buy an Al Roker? lol), but a lot of people just like to take advantage of the good will of celebrities and get as many as possible. I don't think that is right. I don't think that it's right even to sell stuff to fund autograph collecting. Don't make the hobby harder for others because you don't want to spend $8 on a book of stamps. Selling autographs is what makes a lot of celebrities not sign. As an autograph collector you want them to sign. By selling the autograph, you're ulitmately making this hobby harder on yourself.

Re: making money
Hi,
If you get doubles, why not sell them for charity?
Jason.

Re: making money
true - why not sell the doubles you have for a charity? YOu can always donate them to charity auctions.

Re: making money
I think selling autos you get ttm is just plain wrong because you dont know the authenticity of them. However I don't mind selling autos I get IP because I know they're 100% real. Also, getting autos IP takes up a lot of time and gas driving around town so I need to lower the costs any way possible. I would never ask a celeb to sign more than 2 photos though.

Re: making money
Selling for charity is different than selling and keeping the money for yourself. I would sell for charity, if I was going to sell at all.
My Autograph Collection, (If you want to ask how I got any graph please feel free to email me)
