i finnaly sent out my first charity request yesterday
Hey guys,
I sent my first charity letter yesterday. I was going to send more than one yesterday but for some reason i decided not too.
What I think I am going to do (since I get comunity service hours for it as well; not that that is the only reason I am doing it btw) is to send per sending period usaul set of letters and to one or two people send an aditional charity letter.
BTW I sent to Robin Williams for the charity this time, as I thought he would be the most apropriate for this situation, although I don't know why.
Anyway, I just thought I would mention I have started and as soon as it comes in (which I hope it does come in) I will auction the charity pics and of course keep the ones I asked him for.
I know I am not sending very many charity letters but still, sending a few at a time is better than not sending at all right?
I will notify the charites of it in advance so I can get the hours as well as a thanks. Guys I am not doing this just for a the hours I will acumalate I was going to do this anyway.
I am not a convict or anything, the comunity hours are for highshool.
*I have edited the post to make it readable. It has taken me a while as there was no punctuation at all, so had to try and make sense of it.* James

Best of luck
It also took me some time to get going. I now have over 100 requests out there, and to date have had 23 positive replies back.
I have only posted to UK addresses to date, to keep costs down, as I am collecting for my Scout Group (see seperate thread), but email requests have gone out worldwide, and have had some positives back from those too.
