Down in-person success!

On 10-19, Down played in Detroit and I wasn't going to hang out after the show but I managed to get a set list after they played. I waited out by the buses and got to meet 4 out of 5 members.

Kirk came out first and was cool as hell.

After that, security made everyone (only about 20 of us) line up out front of the building in a single file line to meet Rex and Phil.

Rex came out second and he was real cool for the most part. He got into an argument with some guy in front of me and they were cursing at one another. The guy left and Rex kept signing!

Jimmy came out 3rd and walked down the line signing and taking pictures. He was the coolest, taking time to talk to everyone and thanking us for coming out to the show.

Phil was last and security was super tight for some reason. He was nice and got a pic with him.

I didn't get to meet Pepper this time but hopefully next time I will.

Maxsoul, you saw them the night before I did! What city are you from?

I was in Cincinnati, at Bogart's, they don't let you bring in cameras, inkpens, cigarettes, anything...I can't stand going to Ohio for shows, but that was as close as they were coming to Louisville.

I saw them in Detroit. I live near there. At our show, we could take cameras and I got a few of them as well as a brief video clip on my phone. I will post them.

I also read of the other success from howboutthosemets and wanted to see the set list to see what they played there. I know they change a few songs around on the set from city to city.

Did they play Nothing in Return or New Orleans is a Dying Whore at your show? Those are really the only two they didn't play at ours, that I wanted to hear.

My girlfriend wanted to hear Stained Glass Cross, but I personally, can't stand that song!

Good job, I have Rex and Phil as the wallpaper on my phone now as I got some pics, too. Although I had to delete some of my Job For a Cowboy pics to make room...

Phil looks really healthy these days, I'm glad to see it.

Down was back in town filming their show for a live DVD. I took my set list from last year with me and got Pepper to sign it. He and Kirk were the only 2 to come out, but getting Pepper on my set list made the year plus wait well worth it!!
