Well, Sydney had an AWESOME birthday party this weekend {love}! We all had so much fun and so did she !!! So here are some pictures:

My daughter would love it as she is heavily into the Bang On The Door / Groovy Chick stuff - http://www.bangonthedoor.com/ which is similar in design.

I am sure Sydney will love it in years to come, and cherish it as a real heirloom (just got to try not to break it before then )

And Sydney better cherish it because she's only getting her little fingers on it on special occasions (it took me about 4 hours to paint!?!?) ;) !!!

Thanks charmainey ! You can definitely call me Lisa {thumb2}! It does seem like just yesterday that I would gawk at that ticker and wish for it to move faster . Now I wish time would move slower .

Happy belated birthday to your daughter, Lisa!!! She is absolutely adorable!! I love the cute plate you painted for her and the cake...just WOW!! When I worked at a day care a few months back, when it was a child's b-day we'd always bake a cake and I'd have to do the icing and it just took forever...I'm still getting the hang of it, but yours is just wonderfully done! I want someone to do something like that for mine next week!!

Thanks Larisa ! I won't take hardly any of the credit for the cake ;). I slapped the pink icing on and got it spread, then my husband went to town and did almost all of the decorating because I was too busy running around like a chicken with it's head cut off doing other things . I'd be lost with him, I swear {love}! And those little cake triangles with the grooves for the icing are some real time savers (we got ours at Michael's for 99 cents and it was well worth every penny), let me tell you ;). And happy early birthday to you! If you don't mind me asking, how old are you going to be ?
