Well to be honest, most online translators are a bit off. You're best bet would be to find someone who speaks the language, either a teacher or someone on here to translate it for you
But the google translator seems to get pretty close.
Take these examples of English to French
I missed a step and fell = J'ai raté une marche et je suis tombé
Google's translation = J'ai raté une marche et est tombée (close, but not precise)
My name is Daniel = Je m'applle Daniel
Google's translation = Mon nom est Daniel (Another way of saying it)
I didn't hear my alarm clock = Je n'ai pas entendu mon réveil
Google's translation = Je n'ai pas entendu mon réveil (exactly the same)
So my reccomendation would be to either ask a teacher first (if you're a student), then ask someone on here, then punch your letter into the Google translator and see how close it comes to the person you asked to help you. I can't really help you because I only know French
