You are writing a "letter", not a punch list. You need to write a real letter. Which should consist of begining/introductory paragraph, middle/informational, and the closing/autograph request. If you want to ask those questions, just print it out on a seperate piece of paper like a true questionaire. many members do this. Ask in a new topic or research the internet on a what a proper questionaire looks like. Most celebs don't have the time to fill them out, some will. If you send the letter just as you displayed for us here, your results will be far and few between. You need to use SPELL CHECK, and use proper puncuation, and grammer. I would start from scratch and attack it with a new game plan, what you have now is pretty much useless.

I'm not going to argue with u regarding the legnth of your letter, but i think it surley does reflect how much of a fan u are, maybe that explains your success rate?

Well, the key thing to remember when writing a letter, is to make it true. Basically, here's the general pattern my letters take
Dear Mr. (or Mrs. ;-) ) Doe,

First of all, please forgive this typed letter, but my handwriting is terrible and you wouldn't be able to read it. I would just like to say that I'm a big fan of you and your performances in XXX, YYY, ZZZ (List whatever you're a fan of him/her for here). I especially loved the part in YYY when you said/did 123 (List something that you really liked about one of the things you already listed). I was wondering if I could ask you a question. Could you sign the enclosed ABC/DEF/GHI (List whatever you sent here). I collect autographs as a hobby and I would really appreciate it if I were able to add yours to my collection. I have enclosed a Self-Addressed-Stamped-Envelope (obviously don't put this if you didn't include one) to make things easier for you.

Thanks for your time,

Your Name
Your Address
Your City, State, Zip
(basically follow the address format for whatever country you're in)
There's no need for a half page letter. Just a paragraph sized letter will suffice. Remember that celebs are quite busy and will seldom read a page or half-page long letter.

You shouldn't tell the celeb that you collect autographs...

For what reason? :?

I feel that by telling them that I collect autographs, it will seem more honest and sincere. I put that in all my letters, and i have yet to receive any problems because of it.

I agree with dgangel, you probably should not tell the celebrity that you colllect autographs. An example is, lets say you are writing to a celebrity that you are a big fan of, and you include that you are an autograph collector. That may say to them: He/She isn't really a fan, just another annoying autograph hound. I never include it because everyone I write to I really want their autograph.

miley cyrus fan still hasn't worked on her posting. ;) I don't want to be a b***h but you should really start to use punctuation. I remember you were 'too lazy' to write proper entries.
