New Democratic Party Convention

Last weekend I went to the BCNDP convention as a delegate from my region. I met many great people and heard many interesting speakers. I also managed to get a few autographs.


Karen Sanford - Former MLA



Joy MacPhail - Former BCNDP leader (British Columbians and Canadians may remember the "Jenny and Joy Show")


Carole James - Leader of the BCNDP



Dave Barrett - Former BC Premier



Margaret Mitchell - Former NDP MP (I bought a copy of her memoirs)


I got my Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedmos signed by many MP's


On the top is: Alex Atamanenko - MP BC South Interior, Penny Priddy - MP Surrey North, Jack Layton - Leader of the Federal NDP, Libby Davies - MP Vancouver East, Dawn Black - MP New West.-Coquitlam



On the bottom is: Thomas Mulcair - MP Outremont, Margaret Mitchell - Former MP Vancouver East, Alex MacDonald - Former CCF MP and BC Attorney General

Thats a brilliant success mate! Did you see if Jack Layton was there?

Its pretty cool you got so many autographs. Usually getting some of those politicians to sign TTM is quite difficult. Congrats!

Yeah it was prtty great. I did get a chance to speak to Jack Layton and at the little party on Friday Evening I even got to see him sing. Many of the polticians were willing to stop and chat and sign autographs.
